In any automobile news you may have listen these two words BHP & Torque. what are they means? let’s discuss a brief about that so you will not be confuse about.

BHP– It means brake horse power. The actual useful power of a engine what we get after many breakages (losses in power) is called it’s BHP. In simple terms if i make you understand then just remember one thing the more BHP of your car means the more pickup your car have, or it will get less time to get more higher speed.

Torque – Torque is rotating force of your car engine’s crankshaft. It is abbreviated with Nm(newton metres). The more torque your car have the more pulling or load carrying capacity your vehicle have.

Let’s take an example:
assume two vehicles you have (a) and (b), (a) have 110 bhp @57Nm torque and (b) have 70 bhp@150Nm torque. This means vehicle (a) have higher pick up than (b) but vehicle (b) have more load carrying capacity than (a).
